Teaser art for Victor's Parish, drawn by the amazing Richard Kohlrus

I'm thrilled to see this project gaining momentum, and Richard and I are hoping for a 2013 release on this one, but we'll keep you posted. But, as you can see, it's coming along nicely.

Does Richard rock or what? (Rock is the correct answer, for those of you in the remedial class.)

"Sure, it's pretty, but what is it actually about?" you ask. Here's a story teaser:

Frankenstein's monster is alive and has finally exorcised his metaphysical demons. Now a small-town preacher in Alabama, it's all about to come crashing down around his head when the last living relative of Victor Frankenstein learns about his existence and decides to lay claim to her famous ancestor's property—by any means necessary.

  1. This looks great - who will be inking it? Someone with a fine/neat style I hope. Nothing to heavy handed so as to obscure the wonderful line work Richard gives us!
Can't wait! You prolifically ambitious writer, you!

  2. I think we may color over finished pencils, actually. If not, it may be something we "ink" digitally by manipulated half-tones and such. Perhaps.
