Apex Magazine Issue 81

Apex Publications is happy to announce the release 81st issue of our science fiction, fantasy, and horror zine Apex Magazine. This month we have original fiction by Benjanun Sriduangkaew, Daniel Rosen, and Betsy Phillips. Our poetry is by Heather Morris, Mike Jewett, Crystal Lynn Hilbert, and Laurel Dixon.

Andrea Johnson interviewed Benjanun Sriduangkaew about her story and writing, and Russell Dickerson talked with our cover artist David Demaret about his work. Also in the issue is a reprint of Nick Mamatas's novelette "On the Occasion of My Retirement."

Over the course of the month we will release all of the content from Apex Magazine Issue 81 online where it can be read for free. Today we released the editorial by our editor-in-chief Jason Sizemore and Benjanun Sriduangkaew's story "The Beast at the End of Time."

To read the entire issue now, purchase a digital copy in PDF, ePub, or mobi formats direct from Apex or through one of our online retailers.

Subscriptions are also available. 12-month subscriptions are available through Apex and Weightless Books. Monthly subscriptions are available for your Kindle through Amazon.
