Interview Requests:

To schedule interviews for print or online, please contact me at the above email address. I'm open for both email and telephone interviews. If you prefer a live telephone interview, email me first and I'll provide a phone number with which to reach me. We could also Skype or Zoom if you prefer.

Speaking Engagements:
As a former magazine and corporate copy editor, I have spoken to many groups on:

  • internal communication
  • writing for the Web
  • common editing mistakes that give you a bad company image
As a comic book and prose writer, I have spoken at many conventions on:
  • writing for science fiction and heroes and legends
  • new pulp fiction
  • the heroic archetypes
  • understanding and appreciating "mature readers" comics
  • faith-based stories without writing propaganda
  • writing comics
  • internet-based electronic publishing
  • small press publishing
  • what the editor is looking for when you submit your work

Comic and Book Reviews:
I'll also be happy to occasionally review books and/or comics you have created and post the reviews on my blog. Please email me first and I'll send you my mailing address. I will also review electronic versions of your comics or books in either epub (preferred) or pdf formats.

"I'd Like Review Copies of Your Work For My Magazine/Website" Requests:
Email me and let me know, and I'll either send what I have available, or I'll put you in touch with my editors at the publishing company and have them mail you copies from their stock, depending on availability.

Editing/"Can I Get Your Thoughts On This?" Requests:

As time permits, I'm more than happy to look over scripts and/or offer suggestions on how to improve them. If you want a cursory look over and some general comments, that's fine, but if you're looking for a full-fledged edit for your work, please be professional and inquire about my rates. Thanks.

Collaboration/Comics Creation Requests:
I'm pretty busy with my own stories at the moment, but I'm always open to pitch in and work together on a project that grabs my fancy (and doesn't let go). Just don't assume though. Above all, just be professional when you email me at the above address.

In Other Words...

Email me first. I'm pretty careful about handing out my phone number and mailing address. It's nothing personal, but there are some real wacko's out there, and you can never be too careful. Thanks for understanding.
