But me, I’m not going to be satisfied with being good.
I want my writing to come from both my spirit and
my intellect, my soul and my mind, my natural
knack and my learned skill. I’ll do whatever it takes
to hit great, starting with natural talent (or
self-delusion anyway) and adding skill upon skill
to that, never satisfied that I’ve hit “tallest” yet.
