AIRSHIP 27 PRODUCTION PRESENTS JAMIE RAMOS’ STREETS OF GOLOGTHA

The word Golgotha means "the city of skulls," and "the place of Christ's crucifixion.” Late editor Jaime Ramos thought that a city based on this meaning, which was founded by French monks in the 1800s, would be an interesting place to set noir and detective stories. Ramos wanted the city to be hard-core, filled with dirty cops, the Mafia, corrupt religious figures, and a TV psychic named John Normandy. He wanted the city to be laid out with French catacombs underneath and urban Gothic design on the surface.

Designing landmarks for the city, Ramos had a friend create a map, placing the city in upper Wisconsin, where it always seemed to be raining or snowing or both. Crime would be mixed with mysticism and darkness. Inviting several author friends to contribute, Ramos created an omnibus of collected stories about the city of Golgotha. Assembled here for your enjoyment is the fruit of his editorial desires and the loving labors of Jaime Ramos' friends: Teel James Glenn, Nancy Hansen, Lee Houston Jr. Wayne Carey and Bobby Nash. Illustrations by Rob Davis and cover by Adam Shaw. Take a walk down the shadowy, dangerous, and mysterious STREETS OF GOLGOTHA.

Airship 27 Production Presents EXECUTIVE GAMBIT

Airship 27 Production, one of the leading publishers of New Pulp Fiction, is proud to announce the release of a thrilling new spy novel by writer Wayne Carey.

America’s greatest fear is realized when President Trent’s personal helicopter, Marine One blows up with him aboard. At the same time, across the Atlantic, Air Force Two carrying the Vice-President Duncan McNeil explodes while landing at Rome’s international airport. Within hours a Palestinian radical fringe group called Vengeance claims credit for the assassinations. A shaken Speaker of the House, Oliver Holstein, is immediately sworn in as the new President.

Every intelligence agency of the free world is tasked with finding Husam al Din, the mysterious mastermind behind Vengeance. Then Italian officials report that the Vice-President’s personal Secret Service agent miraculously survived the crash and is recuperating in a Roman hospital. What does he know? Can he provide intelligence that might uncover the inside agents responsible for the twin terror attacks? More importantly, is he still a target of Vengeance?

The stakes have never been higher as a cunning, ruthless foe prepares to unleash a nuclear holocaust on America’s allies in the final Executive Gambit.

“When first starting Airship 27,” Managing Editor Ron Fortier recounts, “Art Director Rob Davis and I agreed we would welcome any and all genres as long as the writing was of a professional caliber. To that end we’ve published everything from classic golden age masked avengers to horror, fantasy and even children’s books. With Wayne Carey’s Executive Gambit we’ve now entered into Tom Clancy country. This book is as gripping and exciting as anything on the mainstream market today and would sure make one hell of a movie.”

To package the new espionage thriller, Fortier assigned Davis to do both the interior illustrations and design the cover. “Happily, upon reading Carey’s manuscript, Rob was equally excited about this book and delivered a truly gorgeous all around package that effectively targets the thriller fan base. Once in readers’ hands, I predict word of mouth will soon make the name Wayne Carey one to look out for.”

AIRSHIP 27 PRODUCTION PRESENTS EL’ARIS

Airship 27 Productions is thrilled to announce the release of a new science-fiction action adventure novel by Wayne Carey; “EL’ARIS.”

After the planet El’aris was first discovered, human colonists enslaved the alien Tz-en. Then they mined the world’s natural resources for themselves. Eventually the Tz-en organized a rebellion with the help of paid intergalactic mercenaries, among which were Tony Michaels and Jon Perry. With the financial backing of the powerful star-spanning Deltan Technologies, they were victorious.

Ten years later, Michaels is summoned back to El’aris. Now it is the Tz-zen who rule with an iron fist subjugating the human Elarans. A desert tribe known as the Skir’ka has begun terrorist attacks on the major trade centers and Deltan Tech wants him to find and kill their leader. His name is Jon Perry.

“Wayne Carey’s new book is like a trip back in time,” says Airship 27 Production’s Managing Editor Ron Fortier. “It recalls the late 60s and early 70s when Ace and Daw paperbacks dominated the spinner racks. Month after month some of the finest science-fiction books were offered by such luminaries as Andre Norton, E.C. Tubb, A.E. Van Vogt, Frederick Pohl, Arthur C. Clark, Isaac Asimov and so-so many more.”

Fortier recalls his teen years devouring those action adventure space operas. “Carey has captured the enthusiasm and magic of those galactic settings with fascinating aliens and truly memorable new worlds.” Artist James Lyle provides the black and white interior illustrations and Ted Hammond the cover with Art Director Rob Davis assembling the package. “This is the first in a new series,” Fortier concludes, “and we can promise our readers one hell of a fun sci-fi ride.”

GREAT ART INSPIRES FANTASTIC GENRE FICTION IN LATEST PRO SE PRODUCTIONS RELEASE! WRITE TO THE COVER VOLUME ONE DEBUTS

Always an innovator of Genre Fiction, Pro Se Productions announces the release of its latest title, a project that actually started with an artist instead of authors. Write to the Cover Volume One, based on the art of Adam Shaw, is now available in print and digital format.

“Stories,” says Tommy Hancock, Partner in and Editor in Chief of Pro Se Productions, “don’t always start solely in the mind of a writer. We often find inspiration in a myriad of places, including artwork that captures our attention. And although to some it may seem backward to start a project with the cover first, it made perfect sense to me the moment I saw this piece by Adam Shaw. Just looking at it for the first time, I had three or four different ideas for the volumes of adventures that one painting held. So, taking that image and matching it with seven of the strongest writers in Genre Fiction today was really a no-brainer and has led to one of the most exciting and original projects I feel Pro Se has done in a while.”

Someone once said that a picture is worth a thousand words... The cover of this book created entire universes. In Genre Fiction, the right picture can inspire more than a thousand words. It can give life to brand new worlds, cause valiant heroes and horrific villains to be born, and inspire writers to take action, adventure, and intrigue to brand new heights. That's what a particular image by artist Adam Shaw inspired and why it now graces the cover of Pro Se Productions' Write to the Cover Volume One!

Using Shaw's wonderful talent and atmospheric, almost haunting image of a robot and its guests as a starting point, seven of today's best Genre Fiction authors crafted tales of excitement, exploration, and danger! Wayne Carey, Philip Athans, Nick Piers, Joel Jenkins, David K. Fielding, Wesley Smith, and Phillip Drayer Duncan all started with the same piece of art and you will not believe where they each went from there. Marvel at Adam Shaw's work, then open this book and discover what happens when talented authors Write to the Cover.

With logo design and print formatting by Forrest Bryant, Write to the Cover Volume One! Is available from Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/Write-Cover-One-Philip-Athans/dp/1512348937/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1432733493&sr=8-1&keywords=write+to+the+cover+volume+one and at Pro Se’s own store at www.prose-press.com for $15.00. This collection of seven imaginative tales is also available as an ebook formatted by Bryant for only $2.99 for the Kindle at http://www.amazon.com/Write-Cover-One-Philip-Athans-ebook/dp/B00Y76JX5Q/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&sr=8-1&qid=1432733493 and for most digital formats at http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/545265.
