You've said you were a big fan of old Saturday morning cartoons.
Did any of them rub off on you and influence your way of telling stories?
And yes, they did. As much as I loved the short form cartoons like Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, those aren't the ones that had an impact on me. It was the longer cartoons, the ones that had a full 30-minute shows like Jonny Quest, Dungeons and Dragons, Scooby Doo, Battle of the Planets, Thundarr the Barbarian, The Godzilla Power Hour, and Tarzan and the Super Seven. Then I discovered the reruns of shows like The Herculoids, Space Ghost and The Mighty Mightor.
